Louise
Haley, BScPT,
BScN

Louise opened Haley
Rehab in June 2004, after working as an orthopedic physiotherapist
at The Ottawa Hospital. In August 2003 she became a
Vodder certified lymphedema therapist while developing
and managing a cancer rehab clinic at the Ottawa Regional
Cancer Center. Louise is a graduate of McMaster University
School of Physiotherapy (1993) and Lakehead University
School of Nursing (1988). She has a strong background
in lymphedema, orthopedics, ergonomics and is certified
with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.
Louise was also awarded the College of Physiotherapists
of Ontario Award of Distinction for 2009. She enjoys
spending time outdoors, hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country
skiing.
Lara
MacDonald,
BScPT

Lara joined the Haley Rehab team in 2006. She is a graduate
of the McGill University School of Physiotherapy (1992) and worked as an orthopaedic physiotherapist in Halifax until relocating to Ottawa in 2006. Lara became
certified with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada
Institute in 1998 and earned a post-graduate diploma
in Intermediate (Part A) Manual and Manipulative Therapy
from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in 2001.
In 2006, she completed her certification in
the Vodder lymphatic drainage technique and has continued to pursue oncology related continuing education opportunities since that time. Lara enjoys the balance between her very satisfying work in cancer rehab and spending time with her young family.
Beth
Hoag, MScPT,
BEd, BA

Beth graduated
from McMaster University's Physiotherapy Program in
2005. Before moving to Ottawa, in September 2008 to
join our team, she worked in private practice orthopedics
in Peterborough. Beth is certified with the Acupuncture
Foundation of Canada Institute and continues to attend
regular post-graduate courses in manual therapy. In
October 2008 she completed her certification in manual
lymphatic drainage at the Norton School of Lymphatic
Therapy. Beth is also a certified fitness instructor
with over 12 years experience in the industry. In her
spare time she enjoys curling, skiing, running, swimming
and spending time with her dog.
Andrea
Edwards ,
MScPT

Andrea graduated
from McMaster University's Physiotherapy Program in
2005. Prior to joining our team, her work experience
included outpatient orthopedics in private clinic settings
and inpatient experience at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
Andrea is certified with the Acupuncture Foundation
of Canada Institute and has taken post-graduate courses
in manual therapy, McKenzie techniques, the Sahrmann
philosophy and myofascial release. She completed her certification in manual
lymphatic drainage at the Norton School of Lymphatic
Therapy in September 2009. Andrea spends her free time
skiing, hiking, and staying active outdoors with her
husband and two children.
Michelle Horst, BScPT

Michelle graduated from McGill University School of Physiotherapy in 2003. Previously, she worked in the hospital setting in Montreal; although most of her career has been spent working as a physiotherapist in the community of Ottawa. Michelle completed her certification in manual lymphatic drainage at the Dr. Vodder School International in August 2010. She has also taken post-graduate courses in the Sahrmann philosophy, chronic pain management, and wound healing. Michelle enjoys spending her free time with her family walking, boating and swimming.
Priyanka Banerjee-Guénette,
MScPT

Priyanka graduated from the University of Toronto's Physical Therapy program in 2010, after completing a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Highlights of her clinical experience include working at Toronto's Women's College Hospital where she played a vital role in facilitating a breast reconstruction workshop while interning with the Breast Cancer Rehab team. Priyanka also gained experience at St. Joseph's Hospital in Toronto rehabilitating upper extremity surgical patients. Priyanka completed her manual lymphatic drainage certification at the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in August 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, photography, painting, and dragon boating.
Tomoko Honda, RMT

Tomoko began her career as a massage therapist in 2000 in Japan, where she studied Seitai massage. After immigrating to Canada, she attended the International Academy of Massage and graduated with Honours in 2007. Prior to joining our team she worked full time in private clinic. She completed her certification in manual
lymphatic drainage at the Norton School of Lymphatic
Therapy in September 2011. Tomoko enjoys playing tennis, yoga, and knitting during her free time.
Fatima Saeta, RMT

Fatima is a registered massage therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She brings additional skills that compliment the team being a Certified Yoga Instructor, as well as a current student with the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Her varied interests include spending time with her daughter, walking her dog, yoga, knitting, painting and reading.
Evyanne Wooding, BScKin
Evyanne is a registered Kinesiologist with the Ontario Kinesiology Association, holding a B.Sc. in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. She is also a certified personal trainer and Nordic Walking instructor. Evyanne has worked at the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre in both research and clinical settings. She has been involved with several projects in the field of exercise and oncology. Evyanne is a strong advocate for healthy active living and strives to create personalized programs that fit each individual's specific needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and keeping up with her own active lifestyle
Alisha Renshaw, PTA

Alisha graduated from the Occupational Therapist & Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA & PTA) program at Fleming College in April 2010. She has had the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in numerous physiotherapy settings, including working with palliative patients in the hospital. In addition to her OTA & PTA diploma, she also completed the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Algonquin College in 2008. In July 2010, Alisha became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking and camping.

Cindy
is Haley Rehab's Office Manager having joined the team in May 2005. She graduated from Carleton University
with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Psychology and went on to manage a small business for
10 years. Having a strong interest in the medical field,
she completed a Medical Anatomy and Terminology diploma
program in 2005 at Ican College. Cindy enjoys travelling,
reading, yoga and many outdoor activities including downhill
skiing and playing soccer with her son.
Caron Farrell
Caron joined our team in April 2011, after graduating from the Medical Office Administration course at Everest College. Her past work experience includes several years in management and customer service in the food industry. During her spare time, Caron enjoys being outdoors and keeping active with her two children.
